Halloween

Although we are notorious for having rather large, themed parties, the roommates and I decided to do something a bit more mellow: a pumpkin carving party! A bunch of us got together and carved everything from a toaster to a fire helmet.

A few days later, on the day itself, we went to someone else's Halloween party. As you can see, I was a cat (my costume didn't arrive on time so I had to put it together about an hour ahead of time) and Cory was a fire fighter (not much of a costume since he just brought his turn-outs home from the academy!), but the best costume of all was my roommate Jess'; she made the most convincing Sarah Palin, second only to Tina Fey!
